Buford Yellowjackets (Lancaster, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Central Eagles (Pageland, SC), 7-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Buford upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Yellowjackets host South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC) to battle the Stallions in a non-league test on Monday, February 29. The Stallions come into the test with a record of 1-1. South Pointe lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC)
With the defeat, Central falls to 0-1 on the season. The Eagles host Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC) to battle the Warriors in a AA Region IV test on Wednesday, March 16. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-1.
