DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS), 6-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, DeSoto Central upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Long (Skipperville, AL) to battle the Rebels in a non-league test on Thursday, March 2. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 2-0. Long won 8-2 in their recent non-league test against Trinity Presbyterian (Montgomery, AL)

With the defeat, Hernando falls to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers host Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS) to play the Patriots in a non-league battle on Friday, March 3.
