February 27, 2023: Mt. Zion, GA 30117 Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors (Atlanta, GA), 17-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, Mt. Zion upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Banneker (College Park, GA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 28. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-6. Banneker lost 19-18 in their recent non-league test against Drew (Riverdale, GA)
With the defeat, KIPP Atlanta Collegiate falls to 2-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Therrell (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Panthers in a 2A Area 6 test on Monday, March 6. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-2.
