Willmar Cardinals (Willmar, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Apollo Eagles (St. Cloud, MN), 73-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Willmar upgrades its record to 8-14 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN) to play the Otters in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 28. The Otters go into the bout with a record of 6-17.
