The Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA) basketball felled the visiting Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA), 46-35 in Monday's non-league test.

The Eagles (21-3) will now prepare for their test against Reading (Reading, PA). The Red KNights go into the non-league test with a 26-1 record. In their last test, Reading thwarted Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA), 55-31, in a non-league test.

The Black Knights now own a 17-6 record. They play next when they host Waynesboro for a non-league test on Thursday, March 2. Hempfield will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 55-31 non-league loss to Reading (Reading, PA). The Indians record now stands at 21-5.
