The Varina Blue Devils basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Matoaca Warriors to 66 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Monday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a non-league contest on Friday, March 3. Varina will meet a Hurricanes team coming off a 84-42 non-league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 15-12.
