New Mexico High School Baseball - Rio Rancho defeats Albuquerque Academy
February 27, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), 15-8 in a non-league test.
With the win, Rio Rancho upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Rams host Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Matadors in a non-league test on Thursday, March 2. The Matadors come into the test with a record of 0-1. Sandia lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM)
With the defeat, Albuquerque Academy falls to 0-1 on the season.
