The Avon Falcons topped the host Naugatuck Greyhounds basketball team by a final score of 44-34 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 2. Avon will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record. The Cadets enter the game with a 17-4 record after their 51-48 non-league win over Kennedy (Waterbury, CT).
