Georgia High School Soccer - Pope knocks off Sprayberry
February 27, 2023: Marietta, GA 30062 Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sprayberry Yellow Jackets (Marietta, GA), 7-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Greyhounds face the Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA) in a challenge, on Thursday, March 2. Pope will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 2-2 league Alpharetta (Alpharetta, GA).
The Yellow Jackets now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Roswell for a challenge on Thursday, March 2. Sprayberry will face a Hornets team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.
