Georgia High School Soccer - Echols County held off by McIntosh County Academy
February 27, 2023: Statenville, GA 31648 In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Echols County Wildcats.
The Buccaneers (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Treutlen (Soperton, GA). The Vikings come into the 1A D-II Region 4 battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Treutlen was nudged by Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bacon County (Alma, GA). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record.
