Mississippi High School Softball - Neshoba Central holds off Holmes County Central
February 27, 2023: Philadelphia, MS 39350 Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS), 2-0 in a league challenge.
The Rockets now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Holmes County Central for a 5A Region 3 challenge on Monday, February 27. Neshoba Central will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Holmes County Central falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS) to face the Rockets in a 5A Region 3 challenge on Monday, February 27.
