Altha Wildcats (Altha, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Ponce De Leon Pirates (Ponce De Leon, FL), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Altha upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Wewahitchka (Wewahitchka, FL) to battle the Gators in a non-league test on Thursday, February 29. The Gators come into the test with a record of 0-3. Wewahitchka lost 11-5 in their recent non-league test against Franklin County (Eastpoint, FL)

With the defeat, Ponce De Leon falls to 0-1 on the season. The Pirates host Poplar Springs (Graceville, FL) to battle the Atomics in a non-league test on Thursday, February 29. The Atomics come into the test with a record of 1-1.
