Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Berks Catholic can't hold off Eastern York
February 27, 2024: Reading, PA 19611 The Eastern York Golden Knights basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Berks Catholic Saints to 44 in the Golden Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Knights now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Big Spring for a non-league bout on Friday, March 1. Eastern York will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-61 non-league win over Fleetwood (Fleetwood, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-7.
Next up, the Saints play the Fleetwood Tigers (Fleetwood, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 29. Berks Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 21-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 20-4 record after their 62-61 non-league loss to Big Spring (Newville, PA).
