The Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) basketball nipped the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), 60-53 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hawks (14-12) will now prepare for their test against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Golden Falcons go into the non-league test with a 16-12 record. In their last test, C.B. Aycock got by West Carteret (Morehead City, NC), 53-30, in a non-league test.

The Nighthawks now own a 17-5 record.
