The Hartford Hurricanes basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds to 40 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fair Haven for a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. Hartford will battle a Slaters team coming off a 45-37 non-league win over Middlebury (Middlebury, VT). The Slaters record now stands at 17-4.
