February 27, 2024: Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC) and the visiting Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC), saw Wando's soccer squad triumph over Carolina Forest by a count of 5-0.
The Warriors now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Stratford for a AAAAA Region 6 test on Thursday, February 29. Wando will meet a Knights squad coming off a 2-2 non-league York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Carolina Forest drops to 2-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hartsville (Hartsville, SC) to meet the Red Foxes in a non-league test on Friday, March 1. The Red Foxes come into the test with a record of 2-2. Hartsville won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Sumter (Sumter, SC)
