California High School Lacrosse - Newport Harbor can't get by University
February 27, 2024: Irvine, CA 92612 In Tuesday's non-league test, the host University Trojans lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Newport Harbor Sailors.
The Trojans now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northwood for a test on Monday, March 4. University will face a Timberwolves squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Beckman (Irvine, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Sailors face the Crean Lutheran Saints (Irvine, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 5. Newport Harbor will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Saints come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 8-6 league loss to Canyon (Anaheim, CA).
