With the win, Cherokee moves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA) to battle the Warriors in a 7A Area 5 bout on Friday, March 1. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-4. North Cobb lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Kell (Marietta, GA)
In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) in a 3A Area 7 bout, on Thursday, February 29. Gilmer will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA).
