Georgia High School Soccer - Houston County knocks off Perry
February 27, 2024: Warner Robins, GA 31088 Houston County Bears (Warner Robins, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Perry Panthers (Perry, GA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears face the Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) in a 6A Area 1 challenge, on Friday, March 1. Houston County will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA).
The Panthers now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Spalding for a 4A Area 2 challenge on Friday, March 1. Perry will face a Jaguars team coming off a 3-1 league win over Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-1.
