Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS), 7-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Helena moves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to Sparkman (Harvest, AL) to battle the Senators in a non-league match on Saturday, March 1. The Senators come into the match with a record of 4-4. Sparkman lost 5-3 in their recent non-league match against Gatewood (Eatonton, GA)

The Bulldogs now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Presbyterian Christian for a non-league match on Friday, February 28. Brandon will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 15-9 non-league loss to Purvis (Purvis, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-1.
