With the triumph, Lafayette moves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Lions host Peabody (Alexandria, LA) to confront the Warhorses in a non-league contest on Friday, February 28. The Warhorses come into the contest with a record of 2-5. Peabody lost 20-0 in their recent non-league contest against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kaplan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 11.
