February 27, 2025: Hawthorne, CA 90250 The Paramount Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Hawthorne Cougars to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pirates now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Whitney for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 4. Paramount will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Hawthorne drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA) to play the Argonauts in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 1.
