Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Alcovy moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Loganville (Loganville, GA) to clash with the Red Devils in a 5A Region 8 test on Friday, February 28.
