Georgia High School Soccer - Seckinger nudges Monroe Area
February 27, 2025: Buford, GA 30519 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA) and the visiting Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA), saw Seckinger's soccer squad hold off Monroe Area by a count of 2-1.
The Jaguars (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Longhorns enter the battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Lanier tipped East Jackson (Commerce, GA), 8-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Purple Hurricanes battle the Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 3. Monroe Area will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Grayson (Loganville, GA).
