Georgia High School Soccer - Calvary Christian knocks off Glenwood
February 27, 2025: Columbus, GA 31909 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Calvary Christian Knights (Columbus, GA) and the visiting Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL), saw Calvary Christian's soccer squad prevail over Glenwood by a count of 4-0.
The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against LaGrange Academy (LaGrange, GA). The enter the GIAA AA District 1 battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, LaGrange Academy by Heritage (Newnan, GA), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Gators battle the Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 1. Glenwood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA).
