In Thursday's non-league match, the host Marksville Tigers softball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Avoyelles Charter Vikings.

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Winnfield (Winnfield, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Winnfield was routed by Tioga (Tioga, LA), 9-0, in a non-league match.
