The Central Red Devils softball team scored 20 runs and held the host Hewitt-Trussville Huskies to 1 in the Red Devils non-league win on Thursday.

The Red Devils now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Helena for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. Central will confront a Huskies team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Calera (Calera, AL). The Huskies record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Hewitt-Trussville moves to 3-5 on the season. The Huskies host Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 6-1. Tuscaloosa County won 12-5 in their recent non-league game against Jasper (Jasper, AL)
