Texas High School Softball - Lockhart succumbs to Johnson
February 27, 2025: Buda, TX 78610 In Thursday's non-league battle, the Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) softball team routed the visiting Lockhart Lions (Lockhart, TX), by a margin of 17-2.
The Jaguars now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davenport for a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. Johnson will confront a Wolves team coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Akins (Austin, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Lockhart moves to 2-7 on the season. The Lions travel to MacArthur (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Brahmas in a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. The Brahmas come into the battle with a record of 4-2. MacArthur won 16-13 in their recent league battle against Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX)
