The Robstown Cottonpickers softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Jourdanton Indians/Squaws to 5 in the Cottonpickers non-league win on Thursday.

The Cottonpickers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edinburg North for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. Robstown will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over La Feria (La Feria, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Jourdanton moves to 3-8 on the season. The Indians/squaws travel to Hebbronville (Hebbronville, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. The Longhorns come into the battle with a record of 4-2.
