The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Enterprise Hornets (Redding, CA) and the visiting University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA), saw Enterprise's baseball team beat University Prep by a margin of 6-3.

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Las Plumas (Oroville, CA). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.

Next, the Panthers face the Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 5. University Prep will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA).
