West Sabine Tigers (Pineland, TX) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX), 11-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, West Sabine advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 2A Region III District 24 match on Saturday, February 28. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 4-2. Colmesneil won 13-1 in their recent non-league match against Trinity (Trinity, TX)

The Tigers now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kountze for a non-league match on Saturday, February 28. Trinity will battle a Lions squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Broaddus (Broaddus, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-1.
