Center Roughriders (Center, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), 18-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Center improves its record to 5-11 on the year. The Roughriders travel to Pollok Central (Pollok, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, February 28. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-5. Pollok Central lost 11-0 in their recent non-league match against Groveton (Groveton, TX)

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the LaPoynor Flyers (LaRue, TX) in a 2A Region III District 20 match, on Tuesday, March 3. Cayuga will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Flyers come into the match with a 0-8 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Crockett (Crockett, TX).
