The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Randolph County Tigers (Wedowee, AL) and the host Comer Tigers (Sylacauga, AL), observed Randolph County's softball team notch a victory over Comer by a tally of 18-1.

The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Munford (Munford, AL). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL) in a 3A Area 8 bout, on Tuesday, March 3. Comer will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Maplesville (Maplesville, AL).
