The New Castle Hurricanes basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Gateway Gators to 62 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Monday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 23-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laurel Highlands for a non-league contest on Friday, March 4. New Castle will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 61-44 non-league win over Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 24-0.
