Louisiana High School Basketball - Calvary Baptist Academy nudges Mentorship Academy
February 28, 2023: Baton Rouge, LA 70801 Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA), 54-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Calvary Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 23-8 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 16-10. St. Thomas Aquinas won 70-61 in their recent non-league bout against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA)
