February 28, 2023: Indianapolis, IN 46225 The Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) basketball nipped the host Christel House Eagles (Indianapolis, IN), 62-59 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Sparkplugs (5-18) will now prepare for their test against Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Beech Grove was tipped by Whiteland (Whiteland, IN), 59-55, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Irvington Preparatory Academy for a Greater Indianapolis test on Monday, April 10. Christel House will encounter a squad coming off a 75-25 non-league loss to Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN). The record now stands at 4-19.
