The Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), 51-46 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (28-3) will now prepare for their test against Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 23-10 record. In their last test, Notre Dame (SO) got by Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA), 84-68, in a non-league test.

The Aztecs now own a 25-7 record.
