Michigan High School Basketball - New Lothrop overwhelms St. Charles
February 28, 2023: St. Charles, MI 48655 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) and the host St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI), saw New Lothrop's basketball squad wallop St. Charles by a count of 52-29.
With the victory, New Lothrop upgrades its record to 8-13 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Michigan Lutheran Seminary won 60-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy (Saginaw, MI)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI) in a Mid-State challenge, on Thursday, March 2. St. Charles will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Vandals come into the challenge with a 5-16 record after their 54-42 non-league win over St. Louis (St. Louis, MI).
