February 28, 2023: Forest City, NC 28018 The Kings Mountain Mountaineers baseball team (Kings Mountain, NC), was overwhelmed 18-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC)
The Cavaliers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Lincoln for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 1. East Rutherford will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Kings Mountain falls to 0-1 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Enka (Enka, NC) to battle the Jets in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. The Jets come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
