The Mountain Island Charter Raptors baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host North Mecklenburg Vikings to 0 in the Raptors non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Raptors (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans go into the Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Community School of Davidson was overwhelmed by Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 6-2, in a non-league match.
