Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH), 58-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Boardman upgrades its record to 5-18 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 2. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 15-7. Archbishop Hoban won 75-49 in their recent non-league bout against Chaney (Youngstown, OH)
