North Carolina High School Softball - Triton bounces Purnell Swett
February 28, 2024: Pembroke, NC 28372 Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), 18-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Overhills for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 4. Triton will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Purnell Swett falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to face the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
