Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Prescott Curley Wolves (Prescott, AR), 10-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Go-Devils now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cutter-Morning Star for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 4.

With the loss, Prescott falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Curley wolves travel to Hope (Hope, AR) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1.
