The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) and the host Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA), saw McClatchy's baseball team gain a win over Bishop O'Dowd by a tally of 3-0.

The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin (Stockton, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Franklin by Fairfield (Fairfield, CA), 6-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Dragons face the Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 1. Bishop O'Dowd will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA).
