The South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) baseball trounced the host Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), 13-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Red Raiders now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Lincoln for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 3. South Point will clash with a Knights team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights record now stands at 0-3.
