Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), 6-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Cleveland advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Storm host Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM) to battle the Cavemen/Cavegirls in a non-league match on Saturday, March 1. The Cavemen/Cavegirls come into the match with a record of 0-1. Carlsbad lost 6-5 in their recent non-league match against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM)

The Eagles now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedra Vista for a non-league match on Saturday, March 1. Hobbs will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
