February 28, 2025: Columbus, MS 39702 The Columbus Falcons baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Columbus Christian Academy rams to 6 in the Falcons non-league win on Friday.
The Falcons now hold a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Tremont for a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. Columbus will play a Eagles team coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Belmont (Belmont, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Columbus Christian Academy drops to 0-2 on the year. The Rams travel to Calhoun Academy (Calhoun City, MS) to play the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 3-3.
