Georgia High School Baseball - Gilmer loses to Fannin County
February 28, 2025: Blue Ridge, GA 30513 Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 6-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Fannin County advances its record to 2-5 on the season. The Rebels travel to Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA) to battle the Lions in a 1A D-I Area 7 match on Tuesday, March 4. The Lions come into the match with a record of 4-2. Christian Heritage won 7-5 in their recent non-league match against Trion (Trion, GA)
The Bobcats now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a match on Tuesday, March 4. Gilmer will battle a Generals squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA). The Generals record now stands at 5-3.
