The Simsboro Tigers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Union Parish Farmers to 3 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.

The Tigers now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Haynesville for a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. Simsboro will play a Golden Tornado team coming off a 19-5 non-league win over Doyline (Doyline, LA). The Golden Tornado record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Union Parish drops to 2-1 on the year. The Farmers travel to Weston (Jonesboro, LA) to play the Wolves in a non-league test on Monday, March 3. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 8-5.
