The Chambers Cougars basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host McDowell Titans to 58 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 21-8 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 4. Chambers will confront a Patriots team coming off a 48-46 non-league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 23-5.

With the loss, McDowell falls to 23-5 on the campaign.
